Along with scheduled 30 minute/60 minute lesson in the saddle, students will also have time to learn how to groom, tack up, and cool down their horse.

Dress Code
ASTM/SEI certified helmets (prefferable black/velvet) and boots with heels are mandatory when mounted. Paddock boots and chaps, or boots and breeches are preferred. Jodhpur pants and paddock boots are appropriate for young children. Hair should be neatly hidden under hat with clips and hair nets. Turtlenecks, sweaters, or short sleave shirts with collars are appropriate. Spaghetti string tank tops and shorts or any type of baggy clothing is not considered proper riding attire.  This dress code imposes a sense of order, safety, and discipline - which is what a child needs when dealing with an 900lb animal.

Responsibilities
Allow at least 15 - 30 minutes prior to your lesson to groom and tack your horse. You should be mounted and prepared for instruction at the proper time. Small children may require assistance from instructor. At the end of each lesson the rider is responsible for grooming his mount, cleaning his tack, and returning all equipment to its proper place. This takes approximately 30 minutes.

Package Payment Policy
When students purchase a lesson package they reserve a set day and time for themselves every week/twice a week. To continue to reserve your scheduled spot, it is asked that you please renew your package on the day of the last lesson of the expiring package.  This way you will have your guaranteed lesson spot available and accounts do not become overdue.

Cancellation Policy
Lesson cancellations within less than 24-hour notice or "No-Shows" must pay for the entire time scheduled. Thank you in your consideration when scheduling your lesson.
